Dog Walking / Pet Sitting Services

All dogs, regardless of size or breed, should be taken on daily walks, jogs, runs, etc; any means you have to get your dog up and about. Taking your dog for a walk is an important ritual in keeping your dog mentally fit.
When a dog is hyper or highly strung, it means the dog is not getting the proper amount or the right type of exercise. If your dog runs laps around your house, it is an indication that they are not burning off their energy and a walk is in order!
For a dog to be mentally stable, you must take your dog for daily walks to release his mental and physical energy. A dog that lacks exercise might have behavioural issues, become destructive, hyper active, depressed, have skin issues perhaps resulting from stress and boredom etc.
Call me and I will take your dog for a walk and give him that much needed exercise, out of the house. If you dog drags on leash etc, I am a certified dog trainer and I will correct that behavior during our walks.

What Is Animal Communication?

Animal communication is the ability to connect with animals telepathically. Telepathy is the ability to transmit images, feelings, emotions, thoughts, intentions and sensations from one’s mind to another’s without the use of speech, writing or any other signs or symbols.
You might have wondered how your companion animal knows what you are going to do even before you have started on it, like thinking of taking them for a walk or going out. Or, do you ever wonder how your dog knows that you are coming home long before you arrive home?
That is telepathy -- the most basic form of communication. Everyone is born with this ability, but most of us are not aware of it, ignore it or have lost it from not having used it.
As humans, some of us tend to believe that animals are lesser beings, incapable of “human emotions, feelings and communication skills”, which of course isn’t true at all. With telepathy, we are truly able to “talk” with animals. This ability still comes to the surface once in a while and we often call it instinct, sixth sense or a gut feel.
With telepathy we are truly able to communicate with animals, using this skill to ask our companion animals about their likes, dislikes, health problems, behavioural problems, etc. Or communicate with them while we are at work or away on vacation, or even communicate with them should they be lost, finding out where they are and guiding them home.
Animals have feelings and emotions and in order to communicate with them, we first have to respect them and treat them as our equal. We accept them for who they are; wonderful, strong, intelligent living creatures who are capable of feeling happiness, sorrow, pain, joy; just as we do.
Animal communication brings people and animals closer together and helps us understand our companion animals better. Understanding our pets bond us, creates a deeper connection and helps solve many problems too.
This process gives you the ability to truly communicate with all animals and hear what they have to say, how they are feeling or thinking, or why they do what they do. It also allows you to hear their side of the story, see and understand things from their point of view.
Ms Rosina Arquati of Animal Talk Ltd is a renowned Animal Communicator, based in Hong Kong. Reiki For People

Benefits of Reiki for People

Reiki balances the mind and emotions. Regular Reiki treatments can bring about a calmer and more peaceful state of being, in which a person is better able to cope with everyday stress. In more severe situations, Reiki can help alleviate mood swings, fear, frustration and even anger.
•Reiki relieves pain.
•Reiki calms. It reduces stress, and provides deep relaxation, comfort & peace.
•Reiki boosts and improves the immune system.
•Reiki speeds up recovery from surgery or long-term illness. As it helps in adjusting to medicine/treatment, it also tends to reduce side-effects. For example, chemotherapy patients who received Reiki noticed a marked decrease in side effects from treatment.
•Reiki reduces stress and relives stress as well.

Reiki For Pets

Benefits of Reiki for Pets

Reiki treatments can either be given at the vet’s clinic or in the pet’s home. Most pets take to the energy readily and enjoy hands-on treatments. Some pets may be more comfortable from a slight distance.  Whether given directly hands-on or from across the room, treatments are just as effective.

Animals, especially cats, are naturally receptive to the Reiki energy. I’ve never met a cat who did not like Reiki! In fact, some are so comfortable, they fall asleep! Some pets may initially prefer to experience the energy from a slight distance, rather than having the practitioner's hands directly on them.

Reiki sessions for pets typically last 20-30 minutes. The frequency of sessions depends entirely on each individual animal's health status and needs. Some health issues can be resolved in two or three sessions, others may take ongoing sessions on a recurring basis. The frequency of sessions will be tailored to your pet's individual needs.

· Enhances and promotes overall well-being.
Just like people, even healthy pets can have occasional physical, emotional and mental imbalances that, if left untreated, can manifest as illness, misbehavior or even skin issues. Periodic Reiki treatments can help maintain your pet's natural state of well-being and balance.

· Strengthens the immune system for cancer therapies.
Cancer therapies such as chemotherapy and radiation present stress to an already compromised immune system.  Reiki strengthens the immune system to better deal with this additional stress, prevents side effects and provides pain relief.

· Accelerates healing for post-surgery or illness.
Reiki can alleviate and prevent side effects of conventional medications such as pain killers and antibiotics, and provides pain relief and relaxation to facilitate and enhance the body's natural healing response.

· Increases trust and bonding between you and your pet.
Animals are known to take on the stress and emotions of their owners. Animals are natural healers and sometimes take on their owner's problems, often in an attempt to heal them but because the animals are not used to coping with human problems and human stress, they become unwell and this manifests in diarrhea, skin problems, loss of appetite etc. For optimum healing, joint treatments for people and their pets can often be beneficial.

· Can help with behavioral issues by promoting relaxation and stress reduction.
Many behavioral issues are caused by stress. Reiki has a calming effect on the pet and may help make the pet more receptive to training and behavior modification. Reiki is extremely beneficial for animals with a history of abuse. I personally have used Reiki on rescued street animals, rescued breeding dogs and abandoned pets – the results have been deeply satisfying. The gentle touch and the energy can help restore trust in animals who have learned to associate touch with being hurt.

· Provides comfort and relieves pain, anxiety and fear for terminally ill animals.
Reiki is a wonderful way to facilitate the transition for terminally ill animals and their owners.  Often, animals will not allow themselves to cross the rainbow bridge because they intuitively feel that their owner is not ready to let them go.  Joint Reiki treatments for the pet and his or her owner can help both through this difficult time by enhancing the bond and allowing a gentle transition.

I have often been called to the vet’s clinic when the pet is critically ill. Often, with Reiki and some counseling to the pet owner, the pet crosses the rainbow bridge without the need for the vet’s intervention. It is emotional, but there is great relief when your pet goes on his own. Often in this situation, the owners are distraught and confused. My duty is to facilitate and provide advice.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is not only one of the oldest healing systems in use, it is also one of the most versatile. This ancient method of healing uses energy to balance the body and mind, and its benefits can be felt by both Reiki practitioners and their clients. In fact, Reiki is believed to improve just about any aspect of life, from physical health to emotional well-being to stress reduction and mental clarity.
Reiki is a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan. Pronounced “ray-key”, it is translated into "universal life energy" where the practitioner channels healing energy through her hands to the animal through a light touch either directly on the body or from a distance.  This is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. When life energy is high, your pets are healthy and balanced, more relaxed and less likely to fall sick. When it is low, they'll often be more easily affected by stress and less resistant to illness. And animals do take on their owners stress and emotions.
Reiki is a safe complement to conventional Western medicine, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy and all other forms of healing.
